SR540 Roaster

The Fresh Roast SR540 represents the next generation in the SR lineup, offering a noticeable upgrade to one of the most popular home coffee roasters on the market. It’s simple to operate, provides more flexibility in its settings, and offers a slightly larger batch capacity than the earlier SR500 model—all while remaining beginner-friendly.

One exciting accessory to pair with this roaster is the SR540 Extension Tube. This add-on improves bean movement during roasting, which helps create more even results. It also allows you to increase your batch size and gives you greater control over your roast profile.

The SR540 has a roasting capacity of just over 4 ounces (120 grams). Like previous models, this equals four scoops using the included measuring spoon, making it easy to measure and repeat your favorite batches.

A major upgrade in this model is the redesigned control panel. Instead of the old Low, Medium, and High heat settings, the SR540 now offers nine different heat levels, allowing for much more precise temperature control. The fan speed also includes nine adjustable levels, so you can fine-tune airflow to match the beans you’re roasting. All settings—heat, fan, and time—are controlled by simply pressing the knob and turning it.

Additionally, the SR540 features a real-time air temperature display. With a quick turn of the knob to the right, you can instantly view the current temperature inside the roast chamber, helping you monitor and refine your roasts with greater accuracy.
